How can individual therapy help you live a Sparked Life?

To live a sparked life that's right for you, whether it's all lit up and brimming with aliveness or it's a life of deep inner peace and contentment, almost always we have to break free from the past.  We need to clear the limiting structures, beliefs, and patterns that keep us stuck in discontent, despair, frustration, anger and loneliness.

This is often where personal growth therapy comes in.

In therapy we can work with:

  • Changing your relationship to the inner critic and confronting your negative self talk
  • Practicing brain and body techniques to heal from painful life experiences
  • Learning tools for coping with painful emotions so that you can build your capacity to sit with painful emotions
  • Learning how to shift gears from anxious ruminating thoughts
  • Developing a close relationship with yourself where you learn how to give yourself grace, space and love.
  • And so much more!

What are the therapy methods I integrate into our sessions?

I prefer most to practice Brainspotting therapy for our sessions and I integrate strategies and concepts from the following therapies:

  • Body centered psychotherapies such as Hakomi method and Somatic Experiencing
  • Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and mindfulness based practices
  • Parts work based on the Internal Family Systems  model
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy  and Dialectical Behavioral therapy
  • Supportive talk therapy designed to help you express thoughts and feelings and develop new insights

Issues I work with:

  • Anxiety (rumination, social, phobias)
  • Trauma (sexual, abuse, infidelity, car accidents, etc)
  • Grief
  • Life transitions (job change/loss, breakups, loss of family)
  • Self esteem, self confidence and self love and care
  • Chronic stress from job, family, life circumstances
  • Building resilience and confidence
  • Developing a mindfulness practice
  • And much more!

My fee for therapy sessions is $140 per hour or you can purchase a package of 5 sessions for $650.
